Mission 2022
Haiti, as a nation, continues to face a difficult time, but we know that God is powerful and able to help the people overcome the dark moment they endure. As the crisis affects the people incarcerated in prisons the most, with God’s grace we were able to provide food to the prison in Cayes, Haiti. The food provided was able to feed about 900 prisoners for 15 days.
A special thank you to those who were able to contribute to this event. The prison staff were very grateful and expressed their thanks to the GCIM members. Finally, thank you to the team living in Haiti who were able to realize this mission despite the circumstance.
Mission 2019
Despite the difficult situation in Haiti, God is still at work in the country. He continues to bless the country in different ways. He has blessed us to go make a difference in this needy region of the country for his glory. We effected our last mission trip in June 2019. We were able to serve more than 250 people through a mobile clinic where they had medical exams with their prescriptions filled out with no charge. Some of them received dental care which is a tremendous necessity in the community. We were thankful for that, but it was heart breaking to let some of them go back home without medical care because of lack of resources. We were able to distribute hygiene kits to more than 250 people. Special thanks to those who have contributed to make this work possible. We encourage you to join your effort to ours so we can make a difference in others’ lives.
Haiti Earthquake 2021
On August 14, 2021, Haiti faced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in the southwest region; killing more than 2000 people and destroying many homes. This disaster has impacted many people, who are desperately in need of food, water, hygienic products, and shelter. Together we can make a difference in this tragic situation.
Will you join me in prayer for all the families and people affected by the earthquake. We also need your financial support to help those trapped in this crisis. Thank you for your support.
Matthew 25:35-36
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me
UPCOMING EVENTS
-
Due to the insecure situation in Haiti, we were unable to make our missionary trip as planned for last December. Unfortunately we still must postpone all missionary events due to the difficulty the world is facing with COVID-19.
Despite these changes, we remain intently focused on the needs of those communities in need and believe that God will provide, and help us navigate through this time. Knowing that He is in control, we will remain strong.
While we remain vigilante and prayerful, remember this verse:
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7
